Q. Who are the coaches?
We know coaching clients are usually high functioners so constantly have a national network of Nonprofit experts who have been at the executive level of a nonprofit organization for a minimum of ten years and bring hands-on experience from across the nation. Some are still employed within a nonprofit, others are retired. They come from every area of a nonprofit: HR, Development, Program, Facilities, Fiscal. They also include founders and board members.
Q. Many people believe face-to-face coaching is more effective than virtually. How is this different?
A. Telephone engagement is powerful. When using the telephone (or video conferencing), you can coach with anyone in the world. Coaching in person is almost always constrained by distance and travel, forcing people to coach with whomever they can find in their home city. Also, it beats traffic jams, commuter trains, crowded elevators and time away from your office.
Q. What type of questions will my coach help me with?
Our coaches are high functioners, so the answer is "Everything Nonprofit," as we like to say. So if you are an executive director having challenges with your board fundraising, or having a personality conflict, they will help you through it. Perhaps you want to know how to ask for a raise, a promotion? Or maybe, you are interested in starting your own nonprofit. The questions are limitless and you will be carefully matched with a NonProfit Pro who can provide you with bonafide help and support.
Q. I am interested in joining your coaching roster. Is it a paid position and how can I apply?
Yes, our coaches receive compensation. You must be a NANPP member to qualify. If you're interested sign up on our Member Vault with your access code or via email with your interest and one of our team will contact you.
